Caccia, Pesca e Natura (hunting, fishing and nature) is one of the most popular national expo events attended by enthusiasts of fishing and mountain hunting. The event showcases a wide variety of arms, rifles, optical instruments, fishing and hunting equipment, exhibitions, competitions, accessories and technical clothing to meet every need. For example, sport anglers can try the equipment directly in dedicated fish tanks.
The “Festa del Cacciatore” (hunters’ celebration) is an event within the event that has always been co-organised with the alpine hunting reserves. By offering exhibitions of trophies, awards and tastings of typical dishes, Caccia, Pesca e Natura is a multi-faceted meeting venue for exhibitors and visitors alike.
Great participation is guaranteed for the competitions such as the brown trout fishing tournament, and the team spinning challenge. The competitions include the Taxidermy National Open where, for two decades years, Italy’s best taxidermists have been meeting to create a large exhibition of their works. Also, technical state-of-the-art meetings are held, directed by experienced professionals.
Particularly interesting are the exhibitions of hunting collectibles as well as the bird, fish and nature related collections. The event provides commercial and promotional exhibition areas where hunter associations illustrate their activities. In doing so, they give great attention to historical and cultural aspects that have always combined the hunting activity and the natural environment.
